Tulu Film 'Non Veg' Set for Release on February 6 Across Coastal Karnataka
Mangaluru: The Tulu comedy-drama Non Veg, produced under the Jayakiran Films banner by Prakash Pandeshwar and directed by K. Suraj Shetty, is all set to hit screens across the coastal districts on February 6.
Made entirely with local coastal talent, Non Veg boasts a bold and unique storyline. The film carries a powerful message: things society often labels as impure or taboo are, in reality, natural and inevitable aspects of life.
Many artists who appeared in the hit film Su From So are part of Non Veg as well. The cast includes Prakash Toominadu, Pushparaj Bolluru (famous for Bandaro Bandaru Bava Bandaru), Deepak Rai Panaje, Maim Ramdas, Vismaya Vinayak, and Roopa Varkadi. Leading lady Sanjana Burli, known for her stellar performance in the popular serial Puttakkana Makkalu, delivers a standout performance. Kuseldarase Naveen D. Padil plays a key role, while promising young actor Atharva Prakash—who has already made his mark in several Tulu and Kannada films—features in a prominent character. The team is confident that the film will be a massive hit.
