After Subhamitra's murder, Rosalin alleged foul play, stating, "After Subhamitra's murder, we suspect my sister was also killed by Deepak." Both wives had Rs 1 crore insurance policies, raising suspicions. This prompted the case's reopening, with Deepak now accused in the murder.
