Delhi Shocker: 21-Year-Old Part-Time Model Stabbed to Death at Home; Former Gym Trainer Suspected

New Delhi: In a chilling incident, a 21-year-old woman named Muskan, who worked as a part-time model, was stabbed to death inside her rented accommodation in west Delhi's New Mahavir Nagar under the Tilak Nagar police station limits, police said.

Details of the Incident: The victim was alone at home when the assailant barged into the house and attacked her repeatedly with a knife. Neighbours rushed to the residence after hearing her cries for help and found her lying in a pool of blood with severe stab injuries. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

Former Gym Trainer Suspected: The victim's family, including her brother Aakash, has accused Imran—a trainer at the gym Muskan frequented—of carrying out the murder. Imran fled the scene following the crime and remains on the run. Police also questioned the staff at 'Seven Zone Fitness Destination', where Imran was previously employed. Dimpal, the gym's receptionist, stated that Imran had left the job about one to two months ago following complaints regarding his conduct.

Police Probe and Security Deployment: Delhi Police have formed multiple specialized teams to track down and apprehend the suspect. "We are searching for the culprit, and CCTV footage from the vicinity is being actively scanned," said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta.

As the victim and the suspect belong to different communities, heavy police deployment has been put in place in the neighbourhood as a precautionary measure to prevent any untoward incidents and maintain law and order.
